Essential oils have  been used for thousands of years for cosmetic and medicinal purposes, as well as for their spiritually and emotionally uplifting properties. Primarily extracted through careful steam distillation but also through cold pressing, the purest essential oils are far more powerful than the botanicals from which they were extracted. Each scent is the very heart of nature’s pure essence.

Essential oils mixed with soothing music and a carefully targeted Yin Yoga practice, can be your key to a more fulfilling and balanced emotional life. Whilst also soothing away pain, stress and tension.

Our Sensory Yin Yoga workshops and retreats are designed to help you rediscover peace, balance, and joy, as we use  essential oils and blends for diffusion, massage, inhalation, or topical application. Joined with meditative music and deep release Yin Yoga asanas.

Modern lifestyles don’t always create optimal conditions for physical wellness. Poor diet, poor posture, lack of exercise, and an overabundance of environmental toxins can leave the body unbalanced and diminish energy levels. Activating our deep senses, helping to support every system of the body. Incense and essential oils from plants have always played an important part in religious and spiritual ceremonies, helping participants to transcend the trivial and connect with something larger than themselves. Research shows that the pure constituents in pure essential oils stimulate olfactory receptors and activate regions in the brain’s limbic system associated with memory, emotion, and state of mind. We use these pure essential oils to enhance our physical and spiritual practice, applying meditative, empowering essential oils directly to wrists, feet, and our third eye chakra point, or diffuse in our  quiet yoga  space.

We aim to help you to energize and unify your heart, mind, and body through the harmonizing practice of yin, meditative music and the healing tools of pure essentials oils.The extended and supported hold of Yin Yoga poses apply moderate pressure to the connective tissues: the tendons, fascia, and ligaments restoring elasticity, flexibility and releasing trapped tension and blockages . On an energetic level, Yin enhances the flow of prana, or the life force, in the tissues around the joints resulting in better organ health, immunity, pain relief and emotional stability. A more meditative approach to yoga, Yin aims at cultivating awareness of one’s inner silence and stillness.  Treating multiple parts of the body to create physical and energetic balance, this deep inner healing is further supported by the soothing properties of pure and organic essential oils and meditative music to lift and support the practice.

Each Retreat or Workshop Course will focus on renewing yin poses to detoxify the mind, nourish the heart, and open up the body’s connective tissues, releasing trapping tension and stress. Essential oils will be diffused and applied throughout the experience to enhance the body’s healing capacity, cleanse the heart of emotional toxins, and gently rejuvenate the body from the inside out.
